The Tumbleweed Music Festival is produced and supported by the nonprofit Three Rivers Folklife Society. Additional funding comes from a variety of sources. The City of Richland is a major sponsor with monies from the Hotel/Motel Tax. Other money that supports the festival comes from grants, sponsors, and donations.

Debbie Honeyman, wife of the late Jim Honeyman, has donated much of Jim’s voluminous sound equipment to 3RFS, as well as the very special guitar for this year’s Guitar Raffle. Jane Titland (1946 – 2014) was a great supporter of songwriting, and she helped and mentored many Northwest musicians and songwriters over many years in their songwriting efforts. She and her husband John backed our songwriting contest from the very first year of Tumbleweed, in 1997.
Since Jane’s passing, her husband John has donated the prize money for the Jane Titland Memorial Songwriting Contest each year, in memory and honor of Jane’s love and support of the art of songwriting.
