TUMBLEWEED HOMESTAYS
Tumbleweed is happy to help people who want to come to the festival, but who would prefer not to be in a hotel. We offer Homestays (to the extent that we have enough Homestay Hosts, see below) to attendees and performers alike.
If you would like to have a homestay, please fill out our Hospitality / Homestay Request Form (click the button below), and return by July 9th.
TUMBLEWEED HOMESTAY HOSTING
We can only offer Homestays to the extent that kind-hearted, generous people offer up space for people to stay in, whether a guest room, living-room-floor crash space, or a driveway or other area to pitch a tent or park an RV for the weekend.
If you are one of these, PLEASE fill out a Hospitality / Homestay Host form (click the button below) and return by

2023 Tumbleweed Guitar Raffle!
A Tumbleweed tradition for many years is our annual Guitar Raffle.
This year is no exception, and this year we have a remarkable guitar to be raffled off.
This year’s guitar is a Taylor GS Mini Holden Village Special Edition. The neck has a unique emblem among the frets. The top soundboard was made from 250-year-old Engelmann spruce salvaged near Holden Village in the North Cascade Mountains, and the back and sides were made with wood from a single fiddleback maple tree that grew near Bellingham, which was cut for a college expansion project. This combination of woods gives clarity and power, along with warmth and sensitivity to the instrument tones.
You can read the Taylor Guitars brochure about this very special instrument here.
A true collector’s piece, this raffle guitar has been donated by Debbie Honeyman in memory of her late husband, Jim Honeyman, who purchased it from Heidi Muller, thus tying it truly to the Northwest and our Tumbleweed Festival. The package is valued at $1,000, and includes the guitar, a Taylor gig bag, a portable stand, and a new tuner.
We have 500 raffle tickets total, and each costs $5.00. Tickets will be on sale at this year’s festival at the main info booth, the auxiliary info booth inside the Community Center, and from our button/ticket sellers who will be roving the grounds. The winning ticket will be drawn at the end of the Jim Honeyman Tribute, immediately preceding the Sunday night theme concert at the newly named Jim Honeyman South Stage, which begins at 6:30pm. You need not be present to win.
